Can You Still Play Happy Wheels?
Yes. Happy Wheels was not shut down. On 1 October 2026 the official site was up, Steam’s 21 September 2026 release was on sale, and the iOS and Android listings were still in their stores.

Where to playI loaded totaljerkface.com while writing this and it was serving the current news, including the Steam launch. The confusion is almost always Flash. Adobe ended Flash Player on 31 December 2020, but the JavaScript remake went up on 28 December 2020, three days earlier. The old Flash URL is still linked from the official site for anyone who has a runtime.
What ended, and what did not
Flash playback ended. The game’s official home did not. If a portal you used in 2014 shows a blank box, that portal was hosting the SWF. The replacement is the HTML5 game on the same official domain, plus the later Steam port.
| Date | What changed |
|---|---|
| 28 Dec 2020 | Official JavaScript version launches |
| 31 Dec 2020 | Flash Player support ends |
| 12 Jan 2021 | New Flash Player builds refuse SWF content |
| 21 Sep 2026 | Steam release for Windows and Linux |
Is the free version still free?
The browser game is free. Steam is not: $4.99 in the US on the day I checked. Nobody at Fancy Force has posted an end date for the browser build, so I will not invent one.

Questions
Did Happy Wheels shut down?
No. The official site and the store apps were available on 1 October 2026.
Can you still play Happy Wheels online for free?
Yes, in the browser at totaljerkface.com.
Why does my old bookmark look dead?
It is probably a Flash embed. The official HTML5 game replaced that path in December 2020.
